Amici Deli and Bakery was born at a kitchen table in the heart of LaSalle, where four lifelong friends Vince, Sandy, Lisa, and Claudio turned decades of shared meals, family traditions, and authentic Italian recipes into a business rooted in community. Meaning friends in Italian, Amici reflects the foundation of their bond, one that grew into an extended family over the years. Built on friendship, passion, and a love of food, Amici is an extension of their own home, offering thoughtfully prepared sandwiches, pastries, and hot meals made with care and authenticity. Opening soon, Amici invites the LaSalle community to gather, connect, and share in a plateful of their dream.

Building the Dream in LaSalle!

It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes at Amici Deli & Bakery, and we are so excited to see our vision finally taking shape! Those arches are officially up, and the energy in the space is incredible.

As we get closer to our May 1st Grand Opening, we are also looking for some amazing people to join our family. We have Full-Time and Part-Time positions available for:

Saturday mornings are for the rise! 🥖✨

While the drywall and HVAC are going in at the shop, we’re still here perfecting the dough. There is something so uplifting about seeing these loaves ready for the oven.

We’re counting down the days until we can fill the air on Malden Road with the smell of fresh Italian bakes. Until then, the hustle continues! 🇮🇹🏗️

We spent the weekend at the site going over our final renderings and seeing the vision for Amici truly take shape. It’s so uplifting to see the walls going up on Malden Road!

Our team of four is working hard on every detail—from the design of the shop to the traditional recipes we can't wait to share with LaSalle. Spring 2026 can't come soon enough! 🥖
